claud in motion

exotic car sales

A buyer can ask her to find a car, a seller can send theirs in, and both land in her inbox with the details already filled in.

Fourteen seconds on what I built here. No sound.

The headache

Claudia buys and sells exotic cars and films the cars and collections she works with. Her bio link went to a generic link page, so a buyer or a seller had nowhere to say what they wanted except a DM, and a DM rarely carries the make, the budget or the timing.

  • In the way: A request by DM arrives without the details she needs to act on it.

What I built: A short request in a few taps: the make, the spec, the budget and the timing, or for a seller the car itself. It lands in her inbox, and a copy-to-Instagram option is there for people who would rather DM.

  • In the way: A seller types out a car's details by hand and gets half of them wrong.

What I built: Selling starts from the VIN. Enter it and the year, make and model fill themselves in, and up to six photos can go with the request.

  • In the way: Some of her buyers and sellers would rather read in Spanish.

What I built: The whole site has a Spanish version, one tap from the top bar.

  • In the way: Changing a line or a photo should not need a developer.

What I built: She edits the words, the photos and the form choices herself from a private panel, and reads requests there too.

claud in motion website, full page
A still of the home page, taken from the live site. This is the desktop layout, scaled down to fit your screen. The live one is at claudinmotion.com.

A site for someone who buys and sells exotic cars, based in Miami and working with buyers and sellers anywhere. The first screen is a film of her own M3, the request comes right after it, and below that are her story, her YouTube channel, a way for collectors and dealerships to work with her, and her feed.

Up close

Start hereThe request sits beside one of her own photographs, with Find me a car and Sell my car as two halves of one switch.
The factsWhere she is based, her own car and where to follow her are short ruled rows beside her portrait, so they read as facts and not as a bio.

The look, and why

Bone paper, #f1ece3, with ink at #17130f and one rooftop pink, #e58f9c, taken from her own photographs and kept for the marks that say pressed or chosen. Headlines are Anybody at its heaviest and widest, in capitals, and the reading type is Hanken Grotesk. Every button and chip is a squared block, sized for a thumb.
